Our Story

Like many of you, our founders Michael Todd Jewell (Electronics Computer Engineer) and Loren Reese White (Logistics Expert) were both frustrated with greeting cards that: 1) keep you searching for but never quite have just the right words or; 2) the sad sight & sound technology that some of them have whose batteries never last quite long enough.

The two of them became aware of the fast-growing popularity of QR codes that companies use for promotions and asked themselves, why not use QR Codes for the everyday individual or businessperson, and the idea took off from there. 

They are perfect for individuals sending Christmas, birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day or other holiday/occasion greeting cards. Florists love the idea of delivering flower arrangements with STIQRS attached for any and all occasions great or small. With STIQRS classroom teachers have an exciting new way to celebrate student achievement and connect with parents.

Thus the idea was born: to provide QR Code labels for individual people to customize messages (videos, photos, URL, etc.) for use in their personal or business life.  We knew the answer had to be as simple as the palm of your hand so a free mobile app was the obvious choice. For a nominal fee our website provides the QR Code labels that can be downloaded or shipped. Available on our website are holiday, birthday and other themed QR Code label designs and a custom graphic upload option. 

The concept is similar to using a mobile device running our free app as a kind of instant camera, with the STIQRS QR Code Labels as a sort of film for keeping memories alive (a bonus reason why people you share STIQRS with cherish and keep greeting cards with them on it).
